For installers looking for frost safety for Warmth Pumps, hydronics specialist ESBE has the VTN100 collection, which options an axial sealing aspect containing a piston which offers a constant degree of compression. One other function is an anti-vacuum mechanism to allow air admittance. It’s designed to open when the temperature within the fluid falls beneath 30 C, releasing water and permitting hotter water to enter the system. The valve will then shut once more as soon as the temperature rises above 40 C. No handbook reset is required after the valve has been mechanically activated.  

The VTN102 valve has been developed to suit DN25 and DN32 (28mm and 35mm) pipe diameters to mechanically monitor the temperature of the water move.
