John Carlson was the primary Editor of CONTRACTOR—a title that morphed over the many years to Chief Editor/Editor-in-Chief as employees expanded, then to Editorial Director as enterprise fashions modified, and even briefly to Content material Director because the model staked out new territory on the World Large Net.
